About: Letter from the founder
I’m Jacob Schroeder — a financial writer and content strategist. Over the past 20 years, I’ve written for financial advisors and wealth management firms, with work featured in national outlets, including Kiplinger, MSN, Nasdaq, Yahoo Finance and others. I also write the finance Substack, The Root of All.
One pattern became clear along the way: most advisors want to communicate consistently, but they don’t always have the time, confidence or structure to write. And they definitely don’t want generic, canned content that sounds nothing like them.
That’s why I created The Advisor Content Collective: a place where advisors can receive high-quality, story-driven client content every month, written in a clear, creative and human voice. No stale market commentary. No AI mush. No templates everyone is copying.

How does the one-to-one consulting partnership work?
We begin with a discovery call to understand your practice, clients and communication goals. From there we establish a simple rhythm of a monthly strategy call plus ongoing collaboration on messaging ideas and content. Think of it as adding an experienced financial writer to your team to help shape ideas, refine your voice and keep your client communication strong.
How do I access the content?
You’ll access all content through your Memberful member portal, where everything is stored securely and organized in one place. Each month, we’ll email you links to the latest content, and you’ll always have access to the full library while your membership is active.
how do i use the content provided?
You can send the pieces to clients or prospects in your own newsletter, as standalone emails or as part of your regular client communications.
Can I personalize the content?
Yes — and you should. Every piece includes Advisor Notes with optional intros and personalization prompts.
Do you publish this content anywhere else?
No. All content is private to members and never publicly posted.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel anytime. You’ll retain access through the end of your billing cycle. After that, your access to the content library is removed.
